How to send a “New job opportunity” email to candidates?

Unfortunately, many employers still don-t user their existing talent pools to fill their current job openings. That is a shame because many of your previous applicantsand candidatesin your talent network (if you have one) are people that already showed an interest in your company.

So why would you try to attract new ones before you try with the existing ones?

Sometimes, candidates that apply for a certain position that is not a good fit for them, are an excellent match for some other positions at your company.

Instead of forgetting about these people and sending them to the “black hole”, consider using them,as candidates for your current openings. Employers that use this approach have significantly improved their hiring productivity and success.

To be able to do that, you have to have a well-developed Candidate Relationship Management strategy. That means that you have to build relationships with candidatesbefore and until you want them to apply to your opening.

When that tie comes, send them a personalized message with the new opportunity you are offering to them.
