Mortgage Loan Officer job description
We are looking for a motivated Mortgage Loan Officer who will be responsible for originating and processing mortgage loans from application to closing. In this role, you will work closely with clients to determine their financing needs and offer them the best mortgage products to meet their financial goals. You will also be expected to maintain current knowledge of mortgage industry regulations and trends, as well as develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, financial planners, and other referral sources.

- Explain different types of mortgage loans and their terms to clients
- Assist clients in completing loan applications and gathering necessary documentation
- Work with underwriters to ensure loans are approved and funded in a timely manner
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process
- Maintain knowledge of current mortgage industry regulations and trends
- Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources

- Proven work experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or similar role
- Knowledge of mortgage loan products, services, and regulations
