Strikebreakers, also called scabs, is a term used to describe individuals who continue to work during the process of an on-going strike.

Strikebreakers, also called scabs, is a term used to describe individuals who continue to work during the process of an on-going strike.

Strikebreakers can be existing workers who are trying to make a strike ineffectual by working, workers hired to replace those on strike in order to decrease the employment gap or those who use this situation to get employed.

Strikebreaking is often seen as treachery by strikebreaker’s colleagues.
