Mediation services, also called conciliation, refers to the process of using the third trained party called the Mediator to resolve issues such as employment dispute by coming to a common agreement acceptable to all included parties.

Mediation is often held in private and is allowed under law.

Mediator’s authority

Mediators encourage a mediation instead of forcing one.

• A mediator can’t solve the problem

• A mediator can provide possible solutions for the parties to agree upon

• He/she can not act as an interface for the parties and their institutions

• He/she can not judge the case.
