HR generalists need to be cordial, attentive and prompt in order to act as liaisons between workers, managers and executives in measuring employee engagement.

HR Generalists roles and responsibilities

1. Interaction with employees: includes planning and carrying out recruitment and selection process for new employees, organizing training and orientation programmes for the newly-joined employees.

2. Formulating company policies

3. Interaction with external players: includes negotiating with insurance companies to get attractive plans for the company’s employees.

4. Other responsibilities: includes defining retirement benefits, conducting exit interviews, processing final settlements etc.
