We are looking for diligent Material Handlers who will be responsible for the movement of materials within our warehouse. In this position, you will be expected to load and unload materials onto and off of delivery trucks, pack and unpack items for shipment, and ensure that all materials are properly labeled and stored. You will also be responsible for conducting inventory counts and maintaining accurate records of all materials in the warehouse.

Material Handlers duties and responsibilities

  • Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse or distribution center
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all inventory transactions by performing cycle counts and regular physical inventories
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move products and materials to and from storage areas and loading docks
  • Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventory levels, orders, and shipments
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and products
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
