The goal for a successful interview for Network Manager is for the candidate to demonstrate their in-depth knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, showcase their problem-solving and analytical skills, and highlight their experience in managing and leading network teams.

  • Imagine that a critical server in your network is experiencing frequent downtime, and you have exhausted all known troubleshooting methods. What approach would you take to resolve the issue?
  • Suppose that your organization’s website has been compromised by a hacker, and customer data has been stolen. How would you respond to the situation, and what steps would you take to prevent it from happening again in the future?
  • You have been asked to upgrade all network switches to support the use of Voice over IP (VoIP) technology. The process is complex and lengthy, and you have limited resources. How would you ensure that the upgrade is completed on time and within budget?
  • Imagine that there has been a major network outage, affecting all sites globally.
