The goal for a successful interview for a Maintenance Technician is for the interviewer to determine the candidate’s technical expertise and experience in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various types of machinery or equipment.

Situational interview questions

  • Situation: A production machine has stopped working in the middle of a shift. As a maintenance technician, what steps would you take to troubleshoot the issue?
