The goal for a successful interview for a Data Architect is for the candidate to effectively demonstrate their technical knowledge and experience in data modeling, database design, and data management practices.

1. Can you describe a situation where you faced a complex data model design challenge? What was your task in that situation? What actions did you take to solve the challenge? And finally, what was the outcome of your solution?

2. Tell us about a time when you had to negotiate with stakeholders to successfully implement a data architecture solution. What was the situation? What was your task in that scenario? What actions did you take to achieve your goal? What were the results?

3. Can you share an experience where you implemented a new data governance program? What was the situation you faced? What tasks did you have? What were the actions you took, and what were the outcomes?

4. Describe a project where you had to make some critical decisions about data integration with legacy systems. What were the tasks you had? What actions did you take? How did it turn out?

5. Tell us about a time when you needed to redesign an existing data warehouse due to performance-related problems. What was the situation? What were your tasks? What actions did you take? What results did your solution provide?
