  • A client has requested a change to the agreed-upon contract terms that may violate legal constraints. How would you handle the situation while balancing the client’s request with legal compliance?
  • One of your company’s contractors has delivered subpar work, and you are unsure whether this is due to lack of experience or a lack of effort. How would you address the situation and ensure that it does not persist in future projects?
  • A project has hit an unexpected delay, and several key members of the project team are absent. What actions would you take to mitigate the impact of the delay, ensure project success, and communicate the situation to stakeholders?

1. Can you describe a situation when you had to negotiate a contract with a difficult vendor? What was your task in that situation? What actions did you take to resolve the conflict? And what were the final results of that negotiation?

2. Have you ever encountered a situation when a contract you were overseeing faced legal issues? What was your task in that scenario? What actions did you take to resolve the problem with legal agencies? What were the results of your efforts?

3. Describe a situation when you had to handle a breach of contract by one of the parties involved. What were your tasks in handling that situation? What specific actions did you take? Can you explain the final result/outcome of that situation?

4. Can you discuss an instance where you proactively identified a loophole or mistake in a contract you were working on? What was your task? What steps did you take in remedying the situation? What were the final results?

5. Describe a situation when you had to oversee and manage multiple contracts at once. What were your tasks in that assignment? What actions did you take to ensure all contracts were meeting their deliverables? What were the outcomes of your management of these contracts?
