Generation I definition

Generation I is the term used to describe children born between 1995 and 2012 who are growing up in the Internet age (therefore the letter I).

They are characterized by increased media consumption, e-communication and enhanced multitasking skills. Ona positive side they are more tolerant of others, less religious than prior generations, more likely to think for themselves. On the negative side they are less ”face to face” socially active, often overprotected, addicted to gaming, with a higher rate of depression and therefore higher suicide rate.
