The goal for a successful interview for Sales Manager is to assess the candidate’s ability to set and achieve sales targets, their leadership and communication skills, and their knowledge of sales strategies and market trends.

Soft skills interview questions

  • Can you walk us through your experience with sales forecasting and how you ensure accuracy in your projections?
  • How do you go about identifying new business opportunities and developing a sales strategy to capitalize on them?
  • Give an example of a particularly challenging sales situation you faced and how you were able to overcome it.
  • Have you ever managed a team of sales representatives? How did you build a successful team culture and motivate your team to exceed goals?
