We are looking for a detail-oriented Mail Clerk who will be responsible for sorting and distributing incoming mail and packages. In this position, you will also be expected to prepare outgoing mail and packages for pickup or delivery.
Mail Clerk duties and responsibilities
- Collect and sort incoming mail and packages
- Deliver mail and packages to appropriate departments and individuals
- Prepare outgoing mail and packages for shipment
- Operate postage meter and ensure accurate postage is applied to all outgoing mail
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Assist with the organization and maintenance of mailroom equipment and supplies
- Provide excellent customer service to all employees and visitors
