We are looking for a hardworking Dishwasher who will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards of dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc. In this position, you will be expected to operate dishwashing equipment, sort and stack clean dishes, and assist with other cleaning duties as needed.

Dishwasher duties and responsibilities

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
  • Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
  • Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
  • Sweep or scrub floors.
  • Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
  • Scrape leftovers from dishes into garbage containers.
  • Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed, and provide support to other team members as required.
