The goal for a successful interview for an Assistant Manager is to assess the candidate’s ability to lead and motivate a team, analyze data and make informed decisions, and effectively communicate with both superiors and subordinates.

Situational interview questions

  • You have a team member who consistently delivers work that is below par. What strategies would you employ to coach and mentor this employee towards better performance, without demotivating or alienating them?
