It provides individuals with a flexible learning plan. One of the biggest challenges of e-learning is ensuring that training is delivered effectively and that individuals gain key information.

Types of E-learning

1. Asynchronous learning is dictated by the needs and abilities of the individual and is therefore more suited to their needs, they can come and go as they please.

2. Synchronous training is delivered to multiple participants at the same time and reflects the traditional learning environment because participants can not delay their own training without delaying the other participants. It is often referred to as a virtual classroom.
